I am the the Reverend James E.F. Lawrence, Presiding Elder of the South District" of the Philadelphia Annual Conference.
The district is composed of 17 congregations located throughout Berks, Delaware & Philadelphia counties, including some of the oldest churches in the connection.
The South District dates back to 1818. The South District is one of four Presiding Elder districts in the Philadelphia Annual Conference. The Philadelphia Annual Conference falls under the leadership of the First Episcopal District. The Rt. Reverend Richard Franklin Norris is our Bishop and Mother Mary Ann Norris is Supervisor of the WMS.
